In this article, you'll learn how to edit and review your content on Lokalise Flow.

When you open your Flow project, you'll find two tabs in the top menu: Content manager and Content editor.

  • The Content manager lets you browse and manage translations by language and category. For instance, you can easily view all translations related to blog posts in Spanish.

  • The Content editor allows you to view and modify content across all categories.

Accessing content manager

To manage translated content on Lokalise Flow, follow these steps:

  • Open your project in Lokalise Flow and select a language you want to work with:

  • Click on one of the categories listed, such as Blog Posts:

  • Choose the specific item you want to manage:

  • You’ll then see all the content related to the chosen item:

Alternatively, you can view all available content by going directly to the Content editor:

This will take you to a page where you can manage all items across categories:

Editing your content

While translations in Lokalise Flow are automated by artificial intelligence, you may still need to double-check and adjust them as needed.

Please keep the following in mind:

  • Base language limitation — only the target language values can be translated; you cannot modify base language values within Lokalise Flow.

  • Editable translations — only translations with the Pending review status can be modified.

For example, to modify the Spanish translation of a text, start by clicking the Unapprove button:

Once this is done, the text field containing the translation will be unlocked, and new editing buttons will appear.

You can then proceed with the following actions to finalize your translation edits:

  • Edit manually — click on the text box to manually edit your translation.

  • Shorten — use the button with arrows to ask the AI to shorten the text.

  • Rephrase — use the button with a circled arrow to ask the AI to rephrase the translated text.

  • Approve — click the checkmark button to mark the translation as Ready to publish. After approval, the translation can be exported to Shopify.
